Construction of Fallsgrove Plaza started in Fall 2012.
Fallsgrove Plaza is a 110,000 square foot Class A medical
| office building located at 14995 Shady Grove Road in Rockville,
Maryland. The building is designed to achieve LEED®
Gold certification and offers easy access to I-270, is minutes
from I-495 the Capital Beltway and is a short drive from
the Shady Grove and Rockville Metro Stations, Shady Grove
Adventist Hospital, Johns Hopkins Life Sciences Center,
Fallsgrove Hilton Garden Inn • Homewood Suites and
Fallsgrove Village Center. The site is strategically located
within the Montgomery County's Life Sciences Corridor. Nicholas
M. Zuppas and David A. Gittleson of Gittleson Zuppas Medical
Realty will head the leasing effort for the new building.
The firm specializes in leasing to firms in the medical
field throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area
in addition to representing numerous medical practices.

When completed, Fallsgrove Plaza will be located within
walking distance of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. The
hospital is a 331 bed, acute care facility offering a broad
range of treatment options to area patients and has been
nationally recognized for its excellence. The hospital has
2,100 employees, 1,200 medical staff, 800 volunteers, cares
for more than 26,000 patients per year, delivers over 5,000
babies a year and treats over 108,000 emergency patients.
In 2009, Shady Grove Adventist completed a four-year, $100
million dollar expansion and renovation project with an
expanded NICU, a new Pediatric Emergency Department and
an expanded state-of-the art Surgical Service Area. In 2011,
the hospital announced plans to add more that 800,000 sq.
ft. to its 40-acre campus over the next 10 years by
adding a health and wellness center, a diagnostic and outpatient
services building, an oncology services building and a cancer
institute.
